I am a licensed graduate professional counselor with 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families as a school psychologist in North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. After serving mental health needs from within the school setting, I started a new chapter in my professional career, supporting our Southern Maryland community's children, adolescents, and adults. I joined the Hope and Healing Therapy and Wellness team in June 2023.

I am a client-centered practitioner and firmly understand that you are the expert on yourself. Perhaps you have found yourself in a rut. Perhaps you have been struggling with anxiety or depression for a while. Maybe you find yourself overwhelmed in your day-to-day life. You may also be a parent of a child struggling to make meaningful connections with others at home and school. Regardless of your current troubles, I am here to listen, accept, and encourage you on your path to wholeness, wellness, and happiness. If you are considering asking for help, don’t wait. I am excited to partner with you (or your child) in creating a new narrative for the future.

What can you expect from me? Empathy and acceptance of you as a whole, unique person free of judgment and expectation. You are wherever you find yourself on your journey. I am excited to meet you where you are and see where we can go together. If you want to explore counseling with me at Hope and Healing, please contact us and schedule an appointment. I look forward to meeting you.

“Growth occurs when individuals confront problems, struggle to master them, and through that struggle develop new aspects of their skills, capacities, (and) views about life.” - Carl Rogers
