Hi, my name is Danyel. I am a clinical mental health counseling Intern at Walden University. I bring with me over 40 years of life experience with all ages, stages, and many experiences. I bring compassion, curiosity, current counseling knowledge, skills, and techniques with me to our sessions.
As your therapist, I provide a judgment-free, safe space to walk with you on your healing journey. I will meet you where you are, and we will go at a pace that is comfortable for you. Sometimes, we all need someone to talk to, help us move through our stuck points, or help provide tools to help us overcome obstacles; I can help there as well.
You can expect compassionate care, a listening ear, and my support as you walk through your goals. I believe we all deserve to live our best lives according to what that means for us individually, and I want to give you the tools to work towards your goals.
Fun facts:
I enjoy reading, walking, hiking, spending time in nature, practicing mindfulness, and continuously redecorating every room in my house with recycled finds. I believe in holistic self-care and strive to integrate these principles into my personal and professional life. Peace and fulfillment can come in all shapes and sizes, depending on what brings you joy. Together, I hope we can discover yours too.
