Alison Thir, PsyD is a Licensed Psychologist who integrates and utilizes different therapeutic approaches to empower her clients. Dr. Thir collaborates with her clients to meet their needs and ensure that they feel safe and comfortable in their therapeutic environment. Dr. Thir believes that therapy can be a resourceful way to find your inner strengths by developing healthy tools to overcome any obstacles that impede one’s emotional growth. She enjoys watching her clients recognize their own ability to conquer some of their biggest fears and be able to recognize there is hope and positivity in their future.  

Dr. Thir has been trained in trauma focused treatment, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other systematic approaches. Dr. Thir has experience with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, trauma, and clients that are dealing with circumstances that are difficult for them (identity, divorce, peer relationships, sexual issues, and family stress). By providing empathic attunement and a nonjudgmental approach, Dr. Thir provides her clients hope in moving forward with a healthier sense of self. 

Fun facts: Dr. Thir enjoys walking, going to the beach, and traveling. She also likes watching television, movies, and reading as a way to relax and decompress.
